Looks like we're about to lose the protection against illegal search and seizure. And it's a search you never want the government performing - on your computers, MP3 players, other electronic devices, and monitoring your ISP connection!
Turns out Obama's alliance with the liberal media and the entertainment industry is going way beyond campaign politics. After appointing a number of his RIAA, BSA, & MPAA drones to Department of Justice positions, they are currently drafting a new Act (called the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement). This new Act will give the DoJ permission to monitor your ISP for P2P traffic, perform invasive searches of your computers and electronic devices, allow Customs and TSA workers to scan your MP3 player, and all without just cause or your permission.
And who says the liberals are communists and in bed with the entertainment industry? How else would these events even transpired? I think all those dumb kids in high school and college are about to feel really stupid for voting for Obama now.
Let's also not forget that phone calls today (landline and cellular) are all run over switched packet networks (i.e. The Internet). So if they have permission to monitor internet traffic, you can damn be sure they will be performing phone taps without knowledge, court order, or proper oversight.
