This is definitely a different place than South Florida. I will let the sign speak for itself.

Wow, fucking site timed out and I lost my nice long reply. Bah!

Anyhow, you know I'll always find shit Cris:

The slogan was original used by the "Texans for McCain" group during the general election campaigns. Signs were self-made, like the one you saw, of stickers and backboards. The New TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party of America now uses the slogans regularly for their rallies - which seem to get very little media attention for some reason (hmm, wonder why?). The companies above carry products with that slogan and other conservative slogans of the TEA party.

I'm glad your first trip into Texas was nicer than mine. Back in the 90's I drove into Texas on my first trip there. The border sign read: "Welcome to Texas. Drive Friendly, the Texas Way". Not even 2 seconds later some bitch cut me off in the rain, rode of the next guys ass, and received a complimentary brake-check from the next person. This caused a nice chain reaction.

After that I only flew into Texas to see friends. And I'm glad I did. Over the years the amount of illegals on the road driving beaters without tags, licenses, or insurance has turned driving in Texas cities into a hazard. It's an adventure just to drive home each day. The largest group of lawyers in Texas are now Personal Injury specializing in Auto Accidents.

But I could never move to Texas. It is illegal to gamble. I wouldn't be able to play poker anymore. If they changed it I could consider it. Oh and the property taxes are 2-3 times higher than Florida's, depending on where you live. But the homes are cheaper because of the high cost of taxes.

Oh shit, I ranted a little. Sorry. =(

You must have been in bad parts of Texas, the driving has been a great pleasure here compared to South Florida. Considering the housing is 2-3 times less than South Florida you have to lose it somewhere, LOL.

You always find everything Jax.

Well this was Houston and Dallas as far as my experience is concerned. I've heard farther out is a lot nicer and quieter - but you know me, damn suburban asshole.

I wouldn't mind putting this rat race pace of So FL behind me, but I am 4 years into a 30 year sentence ( I mean mortgage) and I love the Ocean.. so Im kinda stuck in this mess down here..

If you could sell there Lino it would be worth it for what you could get here. At the current situation I also understand you would be taking a big loss.
