We were just talking about that vid last week. The rifle is a .577 T REX that loads a 800 grain bullet at 2450 fps., uses 171 gr. of powder and delivers 11,000 ft lbs of energy (5.5 tons) at the muzzle. The gun's owner reportedly designed the rifle for this type enjoyment with the barrel rifling designed for left handed shooters so that the rifle torques left and out of a right handed shooters hand. Imagine shooting a .50 BMG out of a 12 lb rifle with no muzzle brake that's designed to twist out of your hand. I think I'd pass on the opportunity. Nevertheless, most of those guys look like they've never shot a big bore rifle.
