Just a one day course this weekend. Personally, it is one of the least trained with weapons I own. (This is where Cris says that I've only owned a tactical shotgun for 2 weeks now) But seriously, I am beginning to think that it probably will be the gun I grab first when someone is trying to kick down my door. I'm sure this is going to be time well spent. The ammo is generally available and affordable. Sign up and come on out.

Bushido Tactical offers an informative one day shotgun class on the dynamics of shotgun handling. We will teach you everything from weapon operation to basic home defensive tactics.

Whether you own a pump action or a semi-auto shotgun, we believe that we can help you improve your skills and give you a basic understanding of home defense.
This course consists of a lot of weapon manipulation which requires students to be familiar with their own weapon. Our staff will teach you various ways of loading and unloading different types of ammunition in a stressful situation which also includes tactical loading.

Heh, I have to agree with you about the first gun of choice in the household.

I am going to write up an AAR (after action report) on this class as well as the level 2 concealed class. Give me a week or so. Like all of Wade's classes, both classes seriously opened my eyes to the need to practice what I can at home with fine motor skill requirements for both the shotgun and my concealed carry firearm as well as a re-evaluation of some of my preconceptions of what I need to prepare for and matching my equipment/gear with those re-evaluated personal requirements. In other words, what Wade teaches is not right or wrong but possibly another perspective on what you should be prepared for and teaching a set of skills necessary to deal with those scenarios. There might be other ways to accomplish the same thing and he encourages to use what would work best with you.

Thanks Wade for a thoroughly enjoyable weekend of training.
