Would you also like to edit my title?
LOL, I think I will leave this one.

Yeah for now! Something with mild use and little wear and tear would be cool. If I can't find it I'll buy a new one.

Those 3 foot pistols are difficult to conceal. Make you look like you have a third leg!

I haven't found any used XD's laying around this area. I was trying to find a used SC as well. Asked Cris if he wanted to sell his for a decent price and he said it would never be for sale "it's his baby". Which I fully understand because it's likely one of the most comfortable concealed carry weapons you can find, outside of a Ruger LCP (but good luck finding 380 ammo anytime before next decade).
I'd also be interested in an XD9sc if the price was right. Damn you SecPro, now I'll probably end up getting one at the gunshow this weekend now instead of my AR lower. =(

I must disagree.

Yep, won't ever sell it. The LCP is awesome also, I actually had a customer bring me some Corbon ammo the other day for it, so I had some more to hold me over until the ammo rush stops.

You're welcome! You can always get your AR lower, but an XD9sc once in a life time. Guess I'm going to have to buy a new one.
Oh and I may have to kick Cris's ass if he sells his sc to anyone. My service model ain't going nowhere. That is my baby! Comfortable and reliable as hell.
It's the Clint Eastwood City Heat model.

You slap a scope on that bad boy and you're good to go!
Don't get Phil started on mounting a scope on that bad boy.
F the scope. You can mount a damn laser cannon on that baby!

My brother just bought a XD9 sc today at the same gun store I got my XDm last week. They wanted $535 for it.

535$? No thanks. Shoot Straight sells them for 489$ at the gun shows and you can talk them down to 469$ and sometimes 459$ depending on who you talk to.

Hey Cris, thanks for selling me your XD
WHAT?? Cris sold his XD9sc? But that's his EDC. What is he going to carry now? The LCP?
LOL, I didn't sell my XD. I was carrying the PPS for a few weeks, since I wanted to break in the Crossbreed holster for it. Plus I lost the rights to my LCP, the woman liked that better being that its easier to conceal. Oh well, if she likes it better, have at it. I actually just loaded up the XD again this morning, back to some normalcy now.

I'm still looking to get the woman a PF-9, but if my search for one of those fails (they MSRP for 250$, trying to find them in-stock for under 300$ RAWR) I'll likely get her the LCP. Then I'll hate myself each time I'm paying more for her 380 than for my 45. lol
Is there a price level for her safety?

There never is! Or at least shouldn't be.

It's the frugal side of me that gets mad like the Hulk about the idea of paying MSRP, let alone over it.
The first pistol she took a liking to was a P22, told her not for protection. The next was a Bersa 380, and I said I'd rather something that wouldn't malfunction. That left the PF-9 and the LCP. So it's not like I'm putting a Hi-Point in her hand for defense... I just don't want to overpay. You know that's how I am.
Once she dedicates the time to getting her CWP, then it'll be crunch time to get her one of them ASAP if the right deal isn't found by then. Once she receives her permit I'm putting her in the range for a week straight to get very familiar with her new best friend.
