Just thought I'd throw some love to RC since I'm sure he's already looking forward to it.

Go USA lol...I actually played with a bunch of guys who are on the Trinidad & Tobago national team right before the last world cup, as well as England's. Also trained with Sir Alex Ferguson's son in England

Sorry US will still not do it. They are getting better though.

Paraguay and Spain are going to be the teams to watch out for this year.

Australia had a strong showing in the first round in 06, maybe they might be the underdog to shock as well.

Germany always a given.

Italy is doing good so far, but note they havent played any one of significance yet.

So far Argentina is doing fair, but they are still playing without key players, and also a new coach.

Dont be so sure, they get better every cup.
So far they beat Mexico once in preliminaries, they have another game in August. They are the team to measure up to the US. They tied with Italy 1-1 in 06 also.

Yh but they are way too inconsistent. The only given from the US is that their goalkeeping will be solid. As a team they have way too many lapses to be considered a serious threat. They could surprise and make it far but if I was laying money on the line it wouldn't be on them.

As for Argentina, they are a good squad but haven't played very well of late. Did anyone see them get crushed 6-1 or 6-2 a little while back?

I never saw the game, I'm waiting for it to be aired. Maradona is already trying to forget about that match.

Italy is historically very soft during the prelim's as they look to scout the competition without showing themselves off too much.

Spain is always a contender, they just always seem to have good chemistry.

As for Germany, they have that Nazi genetic engineering still in their blood giving them a big advantage. lol

It will be fun. But damn, once it starts that means I've known you bastards for about 5 years then. Makes me feel old(er) thinking about that.

No I have the last one, I dont start looking until game time.
They have long sleeve this time also. Ive always seen 50-85 as the average, unless its embroidered.
I have to get another away jersey. So I'll be looking soon.

I dont buy them that often to make it worth it. I have around 8 or so Jerseys now, I'll have another this year or beginning of next year.
