I like my Rem Oil for just a quick clean and wipe down.

I use CLP, it gets all the gunk off once you let it sit for a bit.

That's why I have the ultrasonic cleaner.

Well I no longer have a huge toy budget as you know! didn't you say it was like 40 or 50 bucks for the set up and the fluid was the expensive shit?

I think the unit was 70 or 80. The fluid is pretty close to the same, but one gallon makes 10 of the cleaning solution.

I use both. I don't like clp to wipe down the exterior of my guns, but its dual purpose is great for in the field lubes. I use Sweets 7.62 bore cleaner just for the bores (obviously).

I still use the ultrasonic tho.

i was cleaning a couple of my pistols and wondered if there was a magical bottle that cleaned and protected at the same time! i still think hoppe's #9 is still the best for cleaning and remoil for the last coat. i wanted something intermediate.

Where are you guys getting your CLP from? i'd like to buy in bulk (as usual). I see they come in by the gallon! rather, a more general question. where do you guys get your cleaning supplies from?

I am currently trying and liking Steel Shield's Weapon-Shield CLP for cleaning and oiling, and Their Lithi-Shield grease for my AR's bolt carrier and XDm's slide.
