Magazine issue

I recently got my Ak74 along with 2 magazines. I finaly got around to receiving and opening a spam can to test function. Well, come to find out, the steel magazine will only hold 27 rounds instead of 30. I took the magazine apart to make sure there was no obstruction and i didnt find anything. Put it back together and it still wont hold more than 27 rounds. Yes, i am pushing down VERY hard!

Any ideas? I called classicarms and they referred me to century and they said i would send my mag in and they would sent me a replacement. I pay for shipping to them. Is it worth the trouble? Can it be fixed?

Is it loading all the way to the bottom. There may be something catching the follower before it gets to the bottom.

Compare it to someone elses mag that can take 30 rounds. Maybe a bad run.
