Get to pick it up on Thursday. Traded the XD-45 Tactical for it at the gun show here in Jacksonville today.
Think this will be my all around weapon. I just couldn't trade down (or up depending on perspective) to a Glock 30/36 for comfortable concealment. I will probably miss the rounded nose of the Glock, but the XD just feels so good and I love the action of the XD's too.
Only wish Springfield had a slimmer single-stack XD compact to compete with the Glock36.

Is this .45 in ACP? I will keep on the look out for .45 for both of us.
I am pretty sure now I will go with your guns cousin. The glock 30. Should be interesting to compare at the range.

Also, if you see the .22LR bulk packs come in, grab me 2-3 as I'm looking at getting a Walther P22 or similar for extra cheap range time (plus maybe a Ruger 10/22 down the road).

Check out Stone Hart for the .45acp ammo. I fired 150rds through my G30 this past weekend and couldnt be happier. It is very clean and very accurate.
On a seperate note, I have a Walther P22 I am thinking about selling. I dont care much for the Walther. I got it from Gun Tech and just dont care for it. If you are interested, let me know.
That should be an easy sell for you Dan.

Matt, you don't have the 550 bulk packs in stock all the time (if ever). And you may want to try my new Compact before you consider the Glock30. Surprisingly my hand fits around it just right with a tight grip and not have my pinky dangling. But I will likely still get a Pearce extension and just shave it down a lot until it's a perfect fit and smallest size possible.
On a separate note, Cabela's just got in a huge amount of new ammo this weekend and have it on their site. I couldn't believe that they had 6.8SPC available and .380 too. Too bad the 380 is going for 40 cents/round now. Production is catching up but prices are staying high. Once peoples wallets run dry the stock will overflow a bit and prices should come back down some - but definitely not down to the level it was a year ago.

No shipping methods have been established as of yet. He is still waiting to set up shipping with UPS or Fed ex, he has to take a Hazmat course etc and has been bs.
Lake Worth Ammo is a distributor he has that can ship. I have yet to speak to them.
