yh i heard...it's fucked up....another thing to hurt law abiding gun owners...funny though that the news never covers stories when law abiding gun owners are able to save their lives or those that are around them
Let me get this straight, an 89 year old "domestic terrorist" travels from NJ, one of the most heavily gun regulated states, to DC, a heavily gun regulated Federal District, and manages to get a rifle into the heavily guarded memorial and fatally shoots a security guard AND gets shot and still could survive? My condolences to the security guard's family but this is a strange story to say the least. I'm not sure how this can be spun to be anti-gun other than a gun was used.

The nut was a white supremicist. The gun issue should not be a factor.

Security personnel are not identifying older citizens as potential threats unless they are ordered to be on the watch for such a threat. And considering how eccentric older people are, it wouldn't be odd to see an old man in a trench in summer.
It wouldn't be hard for a folded stock AK-variant to be concealed either. There are plenty of fuckers out there that snap and "go postal", it just sucks when the good guy falls and not the broken idiot.
I refuse to post to the propaganda anymore.

100% correct! Which is actually one of the many reason you have shyt is going down the way it is. It falls down to management being PC idiots and the clients not knowing what the hell they want. The officers there were supposed to be issued vest like 2yrs ago, but management failed them due to cost and figure that nothing would happen etc(you all know the speech) and look now. Poor guy lost his life over some BS that could of been prevented with the proper safety gear and proper training. Lord knows the old fucker probably walked in with the weapon and did seem suspicious, but due to the staff or lack of no one saw it or could react to his suspicious behavior.
